1986 BMW Alpina C2 2.7

This 1986 Alpina C2 2.7 sedan is one of 108 produced between 1986 and 1988, and it spent time in Germany, Japan, and Finland, before being imported to the US. It is powered by an Alpina-tuned 2.7L inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in black with gold Alpina graphics over black cloth upholstery, the car is fitted with Alpina bodywork, engine tuning, suspension components, and 16″ wheels as well as integrated fog lights, a power sunroof, an onboard computer, and a McIntosh CD stereo. Silver-finished 16″ Alpina alloy wheels are mounted with 205/50 Bridgestone Playz PZ-X tires showing date codes from 2010, and a spare is located beneath the trunk floor. The suspension features Alpina-specific progressive-rate springs as well as Bilstein dampers, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The M20 inline-six was modified by Alpina for use in the C2, which included upgrading the displacement to 2.7-liters via an increase in stroke from an Alpine-specific camshaft, retuning the ECU, and installing Mahle pistons. The alterations combined to produced an Alpina-rated output of 210 horsepower. The timing belt was replaced in February 2023, while the fuel pump, fuel filter, and power steering lines were replaced in May 2025.
